The Whine Machine

My stomach hurts, and all I want to do is complain...*whine* *whine* *whine*

Some time ago, I told one of the mountaineers about Mt Si and how awful it was. I told this person how I powered to the top, and when I got there, I just didn't feel well. (I neglected to say that my period started that day and that was part of the reason why I wasn't feeling well).This guy suggested nutritionally preparing for trips. He said that when he is expecting to go on a difficult trip, he loads up on carbohydrates, so he doesn't "hit that wall". I tried doing that right now because it gave me a great excuse to eat Pad See Ew, one of my favorite dishes. However, whenever I eat anything too pasta-like, it gives me stomach pains, no matter how delicious. I now just want to eat lettuce forever. Lettuce doesn't have the pick me up of pasta, but it doesn't make you feel like you've just been punched in the gut. Fiber, it's a glorious thing.
