I woke up and my head rang.
I looked at myself. I lost my book, jacket, camera and shoes. Doing a quick investigation, I found everything; everything but my shoes.
My shoes are still missing.
Luckily, I woke up at home. My memory was faded, but I recalled vomiting in a dirty bathroom of a burger joint. I recall being in pain, montages of vomiting in different directions, and then being driven home. While being driven, I recall the immense niceness of my friends.
It was a thing.
The night started with Sam buying meat for haggis. For those who don't know, haggis is a sheep pluck pudding. To get this pluck, we went to a special butcher. The butchers were nice, sincere and was curious about my husband's haggis.
Then we needed to get to the bar called the Dropbox. The night was young and my husband had plans. I followed, but then, we got lost in the heart of downtown Seattle. While we sat in traffic, unsure of our destination or our place in the world, I took pictures.
We finally found our way. We ended up at the bar, and I got to meet some of my husband's classmates. I liked them all. However, when I met Katie, I was concerned. She was blonde, beautiful and my husband's type. I thought to myself, "Oh great, this is why we had to spend hours in traffic", but as glasses of booze were consumed and our entertainment lead to our exclusion into a karaoke room, I started to warm up. Katie was fun, and I was having a blast singing with her. I started thinking that if my husband did have a crush, it was ok. I have faith in my husband's choices. So, I drank, had a good time and woke up without my shoes.
My husband, being the one who took care of me that night, woke up next to me. He got dressed and prepared for his final.
While I,
I rolled over in bed.
I rolled over in bed.
